From 24 February to 20 March the travelling exhibition of the translations of the Odyssey in the 24 official languages of the EU was hosted at the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation in Piraeus. It was combined with the exhibition of 130 rare editions of the same book from the rich historical library of the Foundation. On 2 March a special event was organised with the participation of emeritus professors Dimitris Maronitis (philologist and translator of both the Homeric poems) and Theodosios Tassios (civil engineer and authority on ancient Greek technology), as well as the actress and director Fenia Papadodima (who sung excerpts from the 30th Rapsody – The Nekyia). The event has been recorded and is available on line (in Greek) through the blod.gr website.
