Odysseus continues his latest journey by moving to the Library of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. Aside from the permanent exhibits, i.e. translations of the Odyssey into the 24 official languages of the European Union, this leg of the traveling exhibition features some additional editions of the Odyssey from the Library holdings.

On the occasion of the exhibition, the Department of Classical Philology organized the first in its new series of movie nights, this one dedicated to the Odyssey. The screening on Wednesday, 14 May, included an episode of the Simpsons (“Homer’s Odyssey”) and a film by the Cohen brothers, “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”.

The exhibition remains at the Faculty of Humanities until 22 May, when it will move on to its next stopover – Paris.
